Thanks for the response which was awaiting my return home.
I think the clutch claw is a good deterent and is preferable to a wheel lock which is much more accessible.
I felt more vunerable not being able to fit it to the new motorhome immediately.
However, I worked out the modifications needed by adding a spare spacer and changing the peg settings.

I’ve only had it a few weeks and it has already fended off some little Oik who tried to take my pride and joy on Saturday night!
After breaking in and deactivating the alarm and a half assed attempt on the immobiliser they then had a token go at the claw with no avail a few hammer marks and botched attempts to try and chisel the lock later they gave up in the end.
I’m sure without this product my defender would be long gone in a container or stripped out in pieces by now!

Dear Grant, Thank you for the prompt receipt of the Clutch Claw.
It was recommended to me by my local independent Landrover garage (Strathearn Engineering of Abruthven, Perthshire) as most standard steering locks don’t fit. It was easy to install and is easy to use, I can see that it requires a degree of time and determination to get off without the key!
Hopefully it won’t be tested in practice, but I now have peace of mind if my Landy is left in a location away from home.

The Clutch Claw was purchased some 17 years ago (or thereabouts) and was the answer to securing a Motorhome we had, it was subsequently transferred to a larger m/home when the Insurance Company stated that they would load the Insurance without extra security measures. In later years it became awkward to remove with advance of old age but it was never left undone.
It was subsequently used on a Land Rover Discovery where it has been in constant use for the past 12 years but reluctantly we had to sell it BUT retained the Cluch Claw much to the disgust of the new owner (he tried to say it was part of the vehicle’s security) – he retained the window stickers.
It is currently being used on a Peugeot 406 and people do laugh when you kneel down to fit it but no-one has ever taken our vehicles whilst others have lost theirs.
The unit has travelled, and continues to travel, all over Europe and will remain so.
Of all the security devices I have tried over the years, the Clutch Claw is the only one I have praised and thanked for its presence.

Bought my Clutch Claw at the Peterborough Motorhome show 2 years ago , and have used it on my Laika Motorhome since. It was easy to adjust and quick to put on . My clutch claw arrived yesterday. I fitted and set it up last night on my Citroen berlingo mk3 van, have to say real good bit of kit.
Easy to install (even at 6pm in October in the dark).
The claw is solid and pretty much does exactly what it says on the tin. Had an old steering lock on the van before which I know can be easy to break off, heard a lot of stories lately about vans being stolen, so thought I’d make an investment in this.
The two now both combined I can feel reassured my van and all its contents are still there when I come back to it, all but lifting the vehicle onto a trailer, I see no other way of stealing it.

Hallo Grant, I bought a Clutch Claw for my 2002 Euramobil on a Fiat Ducato chassis,
very please with it. I part-exchanged it for a new Roller Team also on
a Ducato chassis.
Took the clutch claw apart, following the instructions on the video,
used the smallest spacer, repositioned the pegs/rods and put it on the
new camper van.
I figure that my old Euramobil did not get stolen, so neither with the
new one.

The Clutch Claw I ordered on Wednesday arrived today, so thank you for getting that to me so quickly.
I have set it up for the car (a 1971 Lotus Elan +2), however the short distance between the back of the pedals and the bulkhead means that the top box cannot be pushed far enough down to clamp the pedal arms firmly between it and the back plate because the pegs are too long and are up against the foot at the bottom of the centre bar.
To clamp the pedal arms firmly, I think the pegs need to be 3-4cm shorter. To this end, is there any chance you could supply shorter pegs? I’d be happy to return the old ones if necessary.

There are two aspects to buying anything : the item and the sales care.
The item :- strong, easily modified to fit your car perfectly in 5 minutes using a screwdriver and a spanner.
Fits in a few seconds without needing the key.
Removed in only a few seconds and easily stored in back footwell.
It’s strong and reliable. Nothing’s 100%, but if they get past this, they’ll get past anything and your cars theirs anyway.
Grinding off this or the pedals is the only way to get this little monster off.
The sales care :- I bought this over 8 years ago. Grew lazy when moved to quiet village. Then next doors car was stolen.
Got this out. Different car and only one key found. Bought extra key and asked if the adjustable parts and new warning stickers could be bought.
Emailed back within 3 working hours. Parts and stickers sent free. Arrived 48 hrs later.
For a customer who bought once over 8 years ago, that is great customer service.
So I fully recommend the product and the service.

Many thanks for your advice during our telephone call yesterday. Just to recap we bought a clutch claw from you about 10 years ago and it performed very well on a manual Fiat motorhome but we now have a Fiat automatic motorhome and the clutch claw would not fit without modification. As promised I attach photos showing the ‘claw with repositioned and reduced length pegs, I hope these are helpful. It seems to be quite a snug fit and will not rotate or pull off the brake pedal and it is not possible to depress the accelerator.

I think this claw is a great idea for classic cars because it does not involve damaging the car in any way, and unlike devices such as those that fit to the steering wheel it won`t scratch the steering wheel.
It is salient timing as well because thefts of classic cars are on the increase.

Thoroughly recommend this bit of kit. O. K. It’s awkward to get at and tricky to release but that’s part of the rationale.
One thing though, there’s a blinker with it to highlight its existence and after 10 years or so it’s gone flat.

It fits very snug and secure with little or no movement even with a good, hard shake. The built in light is very bright and easily seen at night. I originally purchased a Clutch Claw for our Fiat Ducato motorhome with the help of Lee at NK Group who pointed me in the right direct. The Clutch Claw arrived the next day, at first it was a bit fiddly to fit but with patience and following the online video it was securing the vehicle in no time.
The unit has a built in flashing LED light, don’t forget to insert the battery before assembling the unit though and also comes with window stickers as a further deterrent to would be thieves.
Within the past year we upgraded our motor-home with a Peugeot Boxer chassis so again I contacted Lee who kindly sent me some replacement window stickers and shorter bar free of charge.
I can fully recommend the Clutch Claw and would also like to give out a special mention to Lee at NK Group for his help and speedy replies to my emails (Footnote: Worth keeping a spare LED battery in your van if off grid just in case)

Just wanted offer to do you a review/recommendation for your clutchclaw. I bought a unit recently which I was very happy with. The fit was a bit tight between pedals and lower dash trim but not a major problem. I read on a FB forum that different sizeTbars may be available. Had the product 2 years, it is great, on line tutorial to help you build it was fantastic as it made so easy. One assembled its so easy to use both to lock, (push lock in) and unlock with key a doddle, it stores very easy as opposed to wheel locks and steering locks, it doesn’t weigh much which is a bonus.
I would recommend this product as it is also versatile and can be adapted if you buy a different vehicle.

Just wanted offer to do you a review/recommendation for your clutchclaw. I bought a unit recently which I was very happy with. The fit was a bit tight between pedals and lower dash trim but not a major problem. I read on a FB forum that different sizeTbars may be available. I emailed you and was told, without me asking, that you would send a shorter T bar to aid easier fitting. I recieved the new Tbar within 2 days. Purchased a Clutchclaw over 3 years ago, using it on my VW T5. After initial set up it was easily fitted mainly due to “Van” pedal / seating space, but still looking a formidable deterrent. Sold VW & reconfigured setup to fit my Ford car. Fitting is now a “bit” fiddly ! (with the pedals being tucked below the dash/trim ) but not as bad as getting the Bus when your cars gone. The BONUS is being a key less ignition you have to depress the CLUTCH to start the engine. I don’t think so. So Job done, Just fit it *****

Had a clutch claw for many years. Fit our Discovery 300 fine. The the next one and then the freelancer. Now have a Cayenne and I’ve juggled the stems so it fits this now. Have you any special advice for tweaking it to fit this automatic? Can I have yet two more window stickers, please.

Been from an engineering background this clutch claw is very well thought out and put
together I was so impressed I now have both my cars fitted with one as well. It was a choice of either the clutch claw or the pedal box used by Land Rover and I opted for the clutch claw.

The device is very well made, sturdy and robust. The included instructions are easy to understand, and once all the necessary steps have been followed, the Clutch Claw is easy to fit, and easy to remove (as long as you have the key !!! )
