Yes any notifications/alerts can be set up for you on the free Hik-Vision app on your phone. Zones can also be set up that will trigger these alerts if anyone walks into the zone. This can then be played back quickly on your smart phone.
No. Any time schedules can be set so it only alerts you at these times. For example during the night between 10pm and 6 am or duing hours that you are at work etc.
Within reason yes. Included in our installation price is a site visit to discuss all options and suggested positions.
Most residential houses will be fully covered with between 2 and 4 cameras. We recommend trying to cover all entry/exits and any access points/paths etc. We offer a 4 channel DVR box included but can swap for a larger amount if required.
The cameras are very small in size and will blend in to any wall/fascia/guttering but due to the night light, they can easily be seen at night time. This light is a major factor in the night vision quality of picture, but also great at showing any would be thief that they are being recorded.
All the cameras are wired to and pull their power from the DVR. The DVR also records all your footage 24/7. You can access this footage and play it back at any point. The DVR can also be used to notify you with a beep if someone enters one of your set up zones.
